Savitri Jaiswal, 92, of Mountain Top died Sunday at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born December 25, 1921 in India she was a daughter of the late Krishna and Parvati Devi Prasad.
Savitri dedicated her life to the care of her family.
Her husband, N.D. Jaiswal, preceded her in death.
She will be greatly missed by her sons, Niranjan D. Gupta of Mountain Top, Santosh Jaiswal of Blue Bell and Peeyush Jaiswal of Boca Raton, Florida; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and other family, especially her daughter-in-law, Namita D. Gupta, who was a loving and devoted caregiver for many years.
Celebration of Savitri’s Life will be held Tuesday, December 31st at 11 AM at McLaughlin’s – The Family Funeral Service, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre. A private cremation will follow.
Visitation will be held at McLaughlin’s on Tuesday beginning at 10:30 AM.
