Margery Strobel

Margery Strobel, 92, a former resident of the Georgetown section of Wilkes-Barre Township died Tuesday at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born May 29, 1920 in Wilkes-Barre Township she was the daughter of the late Chester and Catherine Kelly Strobel.

Margery was a graduate of Wilkes-Barre Township High School.

Ms. Strobel devoted her life to caring for her parents and siblings at home.

Her sister, Dorothy and brothers, Eugene and Joseph Strobel preceded her in death.

Celebration of Margery’s Life will be held Saturday at 9:30 AM from McLaughlin’s – The Family Funeral Service, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre with Funeral Mass at 10 AM in the Church of Saint Nicholas. Interment will be in Saint Mary's Cemetery in Hanover Township.

Visitation will be held at McLaughlin's on Saturday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM
