Joseph J. Moran, Sr., 82, of Wilkes-Barre passed away at his home on March 6, 2018.
Joe attended St. Mary's High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was retired from the Wilkes-Barre Area School District.
His mother, Margaret Moran Rynkiewicz, and a son, Joseph J. Moran, Jr., preceded him in death.
Joe was an avid Notre Dame fan and enjoyed spending time at Disney World with his beloved wife of sixty years.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, Gladys Moran; daughter, Diane and her husband Mike Brice; son, Paul and his wife Chris Moran; daughter-in-law, Shelly Moran; grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Brice, Paul and Casey Moran, and Alisha and Alexa Moran; great-granddaughter, Joella Moran; brothers, John Rynkiewicz and Al Rynkiewicz.
Joe's family will celebrate his life privately.
