Jeannie Elinsky Dorang, 43, of Wilkes-Barre died Thursday at Hospice Community Care.
Born 06 May 1966 in Miami, Florida she was a daughter of Joseph and Jeanne Roscoe Elinsky of Wilkes-Barre.
She was a graduate of E.L. Meyers High School.
Jeannie had a great sense of humor and a true love for life, which she combined with her strong will and determination to overcome many obstacles she faced during her life.
She will be deeply missed by her parents,
sister: Kim and her husband Rob Mericle of Shavertown and their children, Kelly, Katie, Kristen and Robbie, brother: Scott Elinsky of Wilkes-Barre
aunts, Nora Donato and her sons, John, Greg and Jude and Margaret Kowalski and her husband John and their daughters, Lara and Tara
Celebration of Jeannie’s Life will be held Monday at 10:00 AM from McLaughlin Family Funeral Service, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre with Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in Church of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Hanover Township.
Friends may call Monday 9 to 10 AM
