Gerald W. Farrell, 57, of River Shores Court in West Pittston died Saturday at Inova Loudon Hospital in Leesburg, Virginia.
Born 04 November 1951 in Wilkes-Barre he was a son of Leticia Dugan Farrell of Laurel, Maryland and the late John Farrell.
Jerry earned his bachelors degree from King's College.
A highly decorated twenty-five year veteran of the Fairfax County Police Department, he retired in 1998.
While spending time with his family was most important, Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting darts.
A brother, James Farrell died 3 April 2001.
Surviving, in addition to his mother are his wife, the former Karen Price
children: Sean and his wife Sonya Farrell of Ashburn, Virginia, Jamie and her husband Kenneth Greco of Pittston and Katie Farrell of West Pittston
Grandchildren, Noah, Briana and Marissa Greco
sister: Janice Oliver of Laurel, Maryland
brothers: John Farrell of Laurel, Maryland and Jeffrey and his wife Geri Farrell of Wilkes-Barre,
Funeral will be held Saturday at 09:00 AM from McLaughlin Family Funeral Service, 142 South Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania with Funeral Mass at 09:30 AM in Church of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception.
Friends may call Saturday 8 to 9 a.m.
