Dolores Kochinski

Dolores 'Boots' Kochinski, 82, of Whitehouse Beach in Delaware died Friday at Delaware Hospice Center.

Born May 28, 1928 in Wilkes-Barre she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Freda Schaffer Moluskey.

Dolores raised her family and lived in Levittown for thirty years before moving to Whitehouse Beach where she had resided for the past thirty-one years with her husband of sixty-three years, Andrew.

Dolores was an active volunteer at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, Delaware for eighteen years.

Her brother, Joseph Pluskey preceded her in death.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her children, Colleen and her husband John Coder and John and his wife Stephanie Kochinski; grandchildren, Ashley and Sarah Heil, John Kochinski and Danielle Cooper; great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Jackson and Daniel; sisters, Audrey Tomcho and Gloria Jean Stout.

Celebration of Dolores’ Life will be held Wednesday at 11 AM at McLaughlin's Family Funeral Service, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre. Entombment will be in Saint Mary's Mausoleum in Hanover Township.

Visitation will be held at McLaughlin’s on Wednesday from 10 to 11 AM.

Memorial donations are preferred and may be made to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
