Charles T. Dougherty

Charles T. Dougherty (Chuck), 27, of Hazle Street Wilkes-Barre, died Sunday at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital, Plains Twp. due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born April 12, 1982 in Wilkes-Barre, PA he was the son of Thomas and JoAnn Link.

Chuck attended both Coughlin High School and Wilkes- Barre Area Technical school. He had been employed by Offset Paperback, Dallas Pa.
Chuck was a member of Saint Patrick’s Church Wilkes-Barre and the Paolina Club, Wilkes-Barre.
Two of Chuck’s passions in addition to his family were fishing and playing horse shoes. He was also a die-hard Notre Dame fan.

In life Chuck had always been a person willing to help others, his family continued this tradition when Chuck became an organ donor through the Gift Of Life Program.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather John Karis, paternal grandparents Betty and Anthony Bauer and his nephew John Henry Evans.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, the former Kerrie Bly, a daughter Kaylyn his siblings, William Warman, Kimberly Spak, Christine Gensel, Nicholas Link, Shelia Link, Paul and Tom Dougherty and also Theresa, Kelly and James Lounghney.
Maternal Grandparent Erma Karis.
Numerous nieces, nephews, his father and mother-in-law Michael and Donna Bly and also Elaine Karis.

Funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 AM from McLaughlin Family Funeral Service 142 S. Washington St. Wilkes-Barre with Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM in St. Patricks Church, Parrish St. Wilkes-Barre Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
