Barbara Yelland

Barbara Anne Moskal Yelland, 51, of Coal Street in Wilkes-Barre died Sunday at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born May 3, 1959 in Wilkes-Barre she was a daughter of the late Theodosius and Barbara Lechanski Moskal.

Barbara was a graduate of E.L. Meyers High School.

She was an enthusiastic Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Her husband, Joseph F. Yelland preceded her in death.

Barbara was the best mom to her daughters, Jennifer and Barbara ‘Katie’ Yelland, at home, and son, Ted and his wife Melanie Yelland of Plymouth, and most loving nanny to her granddaughter, Cailyn. She was a most loving sister and friend who was always there for her sister, Gloria Tencza and her fiancé Kenny Shupshinskas of Wilkes-Barre. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Barbara’s Life will be held privately by her family.
