Mary Naomi Morgan, 95, formerly of Birchwood Hills in Plains died Sunday, July 31, 2016.
Born February 22, 1921 in Wilkes Barre she was the daughter of the late John B. and Marie H. Scureman.
Naomi was a graduate of Meyers High School and Wilkes-Barre Business College.
She formerly worked for Pennsylvania Millers Insurance Company and was a member of the Parish of Saint Therese.
Her husband, Robert H. Morgan died January 5, 2010. Her brother, John B. Scureman, Jr. also preceded her in death.
Naomi will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews, Carol S. Matchinga, Betsy S. Smith (Jim), J. Michael Scureman (Michele), Robert P. Scureman (Paula), and James J. Scureman.
Celebration of Naomi’s Life will be held Monday with visitation beginning at 8:30am at McLaughlin’s, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30 am in the Church of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception. Interment will be in Saint Mary’s Cemetery.
Remembrances may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
