James J. Kane, Jr., 65, of Wilkes-Barre died Saturday following an illness.
Born July 17, 1951 in Wilkes-Barre he was a son of the late James J. and Kathleen D. Williams Kane.
Jim was a graduate of Saint Mary’s High School and King’s College.
Before retiring last year, Jim was a longtime associate of the Charles and Mary Music Company. An avid photographer, he also worked for Lyons Studio for many years.
A nephew, Sean Patrick Kane preceded him in death on April 3, 2016.
Jim will be greatly missed by his brothers, Kevin J. and his wife Michele Kane of Wilkes-Barre and Michael J. and his wife Margaret Kane of Ashley; sister, Kathleen Kane Wallace and her husband Robert of Arnold, Maryland; numerous nieces and nephews; cousins, Maryanne Panepinto, Thomas Kane and Martin Kane; other family and friends.
Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held privately by his family.
